Success Story - Jawad Zia Ullah

My name is Jawad Zia Ullah, and I am 7 years old. I am from Sweet Home in Mansehra, and at the moment we are visiting the main centre here in Islamabad.

My family is from Mansera. My father died as a result of a family feud when I was very small. At home, my mother is living with my three older brothers. One brother is in class 7, one is in class 10 and the other studies at college.

I study in Class 3, and my favourite subject is maths! I arrived at Sweet Homes three years ago, and I really like it here. The teachers and carers are all very kind. My best friends are called Arsham and Bilal. We have lots of fun playing games together. My favourite game to play is Cricket. My friends are also doing well at school. My favourite food is biriyani.

When I grow up, I want to be a pilot. I like aeroplanes very much, and hope that one day I will be able to fly all over the World. I am very happy here. I read namaaz 5 times a day and make lots of duaa. Papa Jaani is very nice. He does a lot of good work for us to make sure we are all happy. I am very grateful.

About Pakistan Sweet Home

Success Story - Shah Faisal

My name is Shah Faisal, and I am thirteen years old. I was born in Mardan, where I lived until 2013. My father passed away in a tragic incident during a family feud, and I was moved to a Pakistan Sweet Homes centre in Mardan shortly after.

When I first moved to the centre, I didnt know at all what hostel life would be like. I found it very difficult to adjust. Then for 15 days, a group of us were invited to the Islamabad Sweet Homes centre. This really gave us an insight into how to live together, and really helped us come together as a family.

Then in 2013, I was picked as one of the top 5 children at the centre, and was asked to move to the main centre in Islamabad.I really love it here, but it was very difficult at the beginning. This was the first time I had properly been away from Mardan, and the adjustment was a challenge.

Iam now in 8th class and enjoying it very much! My favourite thing about Sweet Homes is the standard of education they strive to provide. Before joining Sweet Homes in 2009, I attended a government school in Mardan.

Here Every facility is present. Papa Jaani reminds us all the time this is not an orphanage. This is our home. He serves to be everything.I pray that everyone is blessed with parents.
